User Roles

Videlicet User Role Definition

Videlicet™ has four roles assigned to users: Searcher, Transcriber, Prompt Engineer and Admin. Please see the drawing below:

Videlicet User Roles

  1. Searcher
    • Least amount of rights for the end user
    • Full access to the “Search” functionality
    • Full access to the “Browse” functionality
    • Cannot see the “Transcribe this page” on the bottom of Browse
    • No access to Prompts
    • No access to the Administrator functions
    • Access to User Documentation
    • No access to Technical Documentaton

  1. Transcriber
    • Full access to the “Search” functionality
    • Full access to the “Browse” functionality
    • Can see the “Transcribe this page” on the bottom of Browse
    • Full access to create and save manual transcriptions
    • No access to Prompts
    • No access to the Administrator functions
    • Access to User Documentation
    • No access to Technical Documentaton

  1. Prompt Engineer
    • Full access to the “Search” functionality
    • Full access to the “Browse” functionality
    • Can see the “Transcribe this page” on the bottom of Browse
    • Full access to create and save manual transcriptions
    • Full access to the “Prompt” functionality. Can create and run up prompts
    • Can assign up to 5 pages to a label
    • Full access to the “Eval” functionality. Can create and run evaulations
    • No access to Administrator functions
    • Access to User Documentation
    • No access to Technical Documentaton

  1. Admin
    • Full access to all system functionality
    • Access to Administrative functions
    • Access to all documentation like the Technical Documentation
    • Can assign unlimited pages to a label
